FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program
Summit Community Bank is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2010, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules. Summit's Back to School Community
Summit Community Bank will be hosting the Back to School Community Bash at the Moorefield Town Park on Friday, August 20th. Come out and enjoy FREE swimming from 5:30-8:30pm. Then Follow the Yellow Brick Road to the FREE outdoor movie at the Town Park Pavilion featuring ‘The Wizard of Oz’. Free popcorn, hot dogs and soda will be served! The costume contest will be held at 8:15pm,so don’t forget your best Wizard of Oz costume! Also, FREE Glow sticks will be given to the first 100 guests.

2010 Poultry Parade- Moorefield, WV
Summit Community Bank was pleased to participate in the Annual Poultry Parade as part of the Poultry Festival in Moorefield, WV. The Summit team had a wonderful time in supporting the community by donating time and energy to built the float and walk in the parade route.
2010 Poultry Reception
July 24th - 30th, 2010 marked the 67th Annual Poultry Festival in Moorefield, WV. The Festival culminated with the Poultry Reception proudly hosted by Summit Community Bank at the South Branch Inn. Many poultry professionals and local businesses came out to enjoy food and drink at this Annual Reception prior to the Presidents’ Dinner.
